MEAL: BREAKFAST
Day 02 : Full Day Kruger Safari+
Today, we start before sunrise for a full-day open-vehicle safari. A packed breakfast
will be provided by the lodge. This is the best part of the day for seeing predators,
and not knowing what to expect. After a short drive to the park, we enter the park
gates. Your guide will have an idea of the best areas to find the wildlife, including
the Big 5 and plains game
We will stop after about 3 hours for a breakfast break and a chance to get coffee before
continuing with your safari. Kruger offers a variety of eco-zones, and each one has a
different range of wildlife. We visit rivers and watering holes as well as plains and
bushveld regions.
We then stop for lunch at a rest camp (for your own account). You have time to do some
curio shopping or to enjoy a cold beer! The guide will then continue with the safari,
heading back toward the lodge. We arrive at around 15h30 – 16h00, in time for you to
relax, swim and have a great dinner. You will spend your overnight stay at the lodge.
MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner
Day 03 : Hazyview - Panorama Route - Hazyview+
After breakfast, we head to the Blyde River Canyon on the Panorama Route. It is the only
green canyon and the third-largest canyon on earth. We visit various waterfalls along
the route such as the Mac Mac and Berlin Falls, before stopping at the Pinnacle and
God’s Window. Here, we will visit the rainforest before heading north to Bourke's Luck
Potholes, a spectacular geological feature. We will prepare lunch here, and there is a
small museum we'll visit. The communities in the area produce a variety of curios,
souvenirs, and trinkets that they sell at stalls at the various features we'll visit
along the Panorama Route. These are worth a look and of course, if you purchase
something you are assisting the community. We then head further north to the Three
Rondawels, which is in our opinion the most striking view along the Panorama Route. In
the evening, we return to Hazyview for dinner and our overnight stays at the lodge.
